The start: our kick-off meeting in Hungary August 2013


On the 9 of august 2013 we started a 2-year international partnership on the Future of Food. This first kickoff meeting was in Hungary, in the little village of Vacszentlaszlo, about 30 km from Budapest.

We started to get to know each other, explore the possibilities of our partnership and the 4 fields. 

A very rich and intensive time we had together, with home-made raw and vegetarian dishes made by our Hungarian chef, Peter, using local and seasonal produce.

We visited Matthew Hayes, an organic farmer in the next village, who was the first starting an organic, community box system in Hungary.
